What Workhand is, in one sentence
Workhand is construction software for working contractors who run their business from the truck, not the office.
The story (50-word version)
Workhand is the contractor app for the field, not the office. Built by a project manager who spent four years coordinating pool crews from group texts and forgotten spreadsheets, Workhand replaces that chaos with per-job chat, estimates, invoices, time tracking, and profit visibility — all from your phone.
The story (200-word version)
Workhand is construction software built for working contractors who do the job themselves — pool builders, general contractors, remodelers, subcontractors, HVAC technicians, and landscapers running crews of 1 to 15.
Founded in 2025 by Andrew Bernardo, a project manager who spent four years coordinating residential pool construction in Florida, Workhand replaces the typical contractor toolkit of group texts, screenshots, and disconnected spreadsheets with a single app that handles jobs, estimates, invoices, daily logs, materials, crew chat, time tracking, customer selections, and profit-per-job visibility.
The product is designed for the reality of construction work: phone-first, photo-driven, multi-language (English, Spanish, Portuguese), and built to push customers, invoices, and payments into QuickBooks Online for contractors who already have a bookkeeper. Pricing is flat (not per seat) at $35/month for Pro and $89/month for Team, with a free plan that runs a single job indefinitely.
Workhand is available on the iOS App Store, Google Play, and at workhand.app. The company is operated by Innovative Ops LLC, based in Wesley Chapel, Florida.

Founder bio
Andrew Bernardo is the founder of Workhand. Before starting the company, he spent four years as a project manager at a Florida pool construction firm, holding a PMP-equivalent certification and coordinating residential builds end-to-end. Before construction, he worked in financial technology, which is where he first encountered the gap between how mature industries handle data and how construction does. He started Workhand in 2025 after one too many quarter-end cost reports rebuilt from scratch because nobody had logged anything during the year.
Andrew is based in Wesley Chapel, Florida, and still actively project-manages pool builds while running Workhand. Reachable at [email protected] for interview requests.
